Collaboration in the Spotlight
With the continual development of our digital selves, how does the world of science and artistic practice co-create to establish the next generation of creative collaboration? Artists and scientist share many of the same qualities and practices - curiosity, future focus, in depth research and profound analysis, yet in collaboration, their boundaries are fraught with misunderstanding, miscommunication and misrepresentation.
Earlier in April, I spoke at the international symposium for the Association for Information Science and Technology about some of the internal and external tensions that exist in collaborations between music artists and science bodies.
